Today, only 1 out of 5 professionals in DevOps is a woman!

This fact should not discourage us. On the contrary, it is a clear sign that there is room to enter, grow, and lead in a sector that continues to expand.

Many women believe that DevOps is a field reserved for people who already know how to program. However, this idea does not reflect reality. DevOps is not only about technology, it is also about communication, coordination, collaboration, and continuous improvement. In fact, DevOps places strong value on skills such as:

  • Organization

  • Clear communication

  • The ability to learn new things

  • Teamwork

  • Process improvement

These competencies already exist in thousands of women coming from fields such as education, administration, healthcare, psychology, retail, marketing, or logistics.

The talent is already there. What has been missing are role models, guidance, and visibility. For years, technology has been perceived as a distant or inaccessible space for women. But more and more of us are entering, bringing new perspectives, building solutions, and showing that we are also technology. The more visible our stories become, the more doors we open for those who will come after us. Because this sector needs diversity in order to innovate. It needs different ways of thinking, solving problems, and leading. And that change can begin with you.

A guided path to enter the sector

From our DevOps Academy project, we are promoting real opportunities for training and employment for women who want to transition into technology. We are developing a comprehensive, accessible, and long-term training program that supports participants at every stage of the process:

  • Guided learning from zero.

  • Mentorship from professionals in the field.

  • A supportive community to share questions, progress, and experiences.

  • Real preparation to access employment.

This is not only about learning tools, it is about building confidence, perspective, and professional growth. We know that starting something new can feel overwhelming.

But we also know that when one woman moves forward, many others find the path behind her.
